I admit I am reckless. Removing their warm comfort, slipping them next to my thighs, so that I can read a newspaper, text on my cell or flash my transit pass. Then jumping off at my stop, leaving them riding the rails solo.

I love it when poverty is in fashion. Blue collar chic. When the rich teens race their SUV’s down to the promenade to pay 600$ for denim that imitates the East side bus fare clan hand-me-downs.
