Taking a breather in all the Vancouver madness to officially announce that I am a contributing artist to Code, the Cultural Olympiad Digital Edition with not one, but nine films!
CODE is screening all eight episodes of the I Love A Luger web series. In addition, I was one of the lucky sixteen filmmakers commissioned by CODE to make the film Spring. Not only pegged as an Ontario filmmaker, I am also representing comedy. Yesireebob, comedy films at an artist event. I am tickled pink with the Luge flicks and Spring. The cast and crew for both were dream teams who volunteered every drop of their creative talents, hard work, time and love onto both projects. And we had a blast making them. The cats organizing CODE, in spite of the enormity of their undertaking and tight-pressure cooker schedule, have been amazingly supportive of us artists.
The exposure is insane. As part of CODE, the films are available online, bell mobility, event shuttle buses, bell ice cube, Ontario Pavilion, on massive screens at the Vancouver Celebration Sites… and n screened over the next two weeks on 20 outdoor jumbo screens around the UK to get the crowds riled up for London 2012…
It is a wild ride. Thank you everyone.
