Synopsis: Spag tells the horseless tale of Hailey, Jo, Spit and Baby D and their battle against Clit Steele’s gang who are gunning to kidnap the town’s coveted leathersmith and dominatrix, Ms. Le Cuir. The spaghetti western genre is transformed in this queer spoof with an all-chick cast.
Making of Spag:
Filmed in yesterfar, Spag was my first attempt at a narrative short. With zero budget, it was filmed entirely on a borrowed Hi-8 camera in friends’ homes. And it shows in its roughness! I hadn’t studied film at this point. Not only did I direct/write the flick, I also did all the camera work, lighting, production design and editing. (Never again!) Now I work with awesome pros… Spag was fun… enjoy!
