Attending Right to Play symposium at UBC was a humbling reminder of the profound impact sports can have in developing countries. Game play can help grow a community, offer positive mentorship, create gender equality, promote health, build confidence and is a highly effective educational tool.
A United Nations official who spoke at the event powerfully announced that “the right for children to play is an official human right.”
Right to Play is righteous.
